Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories
This lab is equipped with advanced cardiac and video monitoring equipment for use during cardiac catheterizations and interventions. The cardiac catheterization team of cardiologists and cardiac nurses can assemble within 30 minutes for a cardiac emergency, 24 hours a day.
Cardiac Surgery
When normal heart function is changed because of coronary artery disease, heart valve disease, or other heart problems, cardiac surgery is often necessary. Our caring and compassionate cardiac surgeons and cardiologists, along with the support of nurse practitioners, certified cardiac nurses, and cardiovascular technicians, offer superior, personalized treatment.
Intensive Coronary Care Unit
Heart surgery patients begin recovery in this 11-bed unit that is specially staffed and equipped to meet critical needs. Breathing and cardiovascular function of each patient are continually monitored.
Interventional Rehabilitation
Our goal is to help patients to return to the activities they did before the onset of heart disease. Patients begin a supervised exercise program, meet with a dietician and receive emotional and lifestyle counseling. Weekly education sessions help patients and their families learn about heart disease, risk factor modification, and medication.
Poudre Valley Health System Cardiac Unit
This 22-bed unit cares for patients who have had a heart attack, catheterization, surgery, or degenerative vascular disease. Heart rhythms are monitored around the clock.
