Being an active member in the communities we serve is a priority for Heart Center of the Rockies-both as individuals and as a responsible organization. From sponsoring local events, hosting educational forums and helping those in need, we take pride in our community partnerships.

Advanced heart-attack medicines in rural medical facilities
The Heart Center assists several outlying medical facilities in providing inventories of expensive clot-dissolving medicines -- thrombolytics -- essential for treatment of heart attacks. Balloon angioplasty often is not an option in rural medical facilities.
24-hour echocardiogram coverage in eastern Colorado
Using telephone lines, the Heart Center provides 24-hour sound-wave studies of the heart for regional patients. Our cardiologists read and interpret test results within one hour for emergencies and within three hours for nonemergencies.
