A Healthy Diet

Monitoring your eating habits is one of the easiest ways to keep your heart healthy. In general, we recommend a diet that is low in salt, low in fat, and high in fiber. Make sure to include lots of fruits and vegetables. For recovering heart failure patients, it is vital to limit your sodium and increase your potassium intake. Below are links to printable documents that will help guide you with your food choices.
